OoT for the 3DS!? Fantastic!

although you all probably know this i cant help but express my joy at the remake of such a fantastic game!

There are 4 new screenshots and it looks brilliant, but im not too keen on the water temple being "fixed" as much as a ball ache that it is i do enjoy the sense of achievment once ive finished it!

As you may know, some of us play Minecraft together on a server that Tsao hosts (if you want to join us just ask!). I figure it's time that we show off some of the stuff we've put together. I'm only going to show the stuff I've made so that everyone else can reveal their own work.

My first abandoned project was a recreation of the very first planned collaborative drawing at The Island:

I only got as far as the volcano and PS2 before I gave up:

Way too big of a task for a first project. I didn't plan ahead with the volcano and ended up making it too small. I also should have started building on land rather than on water. Very time consuming to make land!

This is the next best shot of the PS2 I can give without including too much of other people's buildings. The money angle (to the left and back of this shot) is now completely blocked by other structures.

My next project was a recreation of Port San d'Oria from Final Fantasy XI. It's probably about 90% complete.

So, my dumbass job that I should have quit years ago decided they didn't like my gnarly hair. I almost walked out on them, but decided that wasn't a wise thing to do. And besides, I've always kinda wanted to see what this feels like... Brace yourselves X-D

This is the first time I've seen my scalp... It's really, really, freakishly white. It's an interesting feeling rubbing on it, and it's bizarre doing things where I would normally have to swipe my hair out of the way. The main difference though is... IT'S REALLY BLASTED COLD. X-D

I gotta do some adventuring like this and see if I like it, but I'm pretty sure the long hair will be back in the couple of years it takes to grow out. It will be fun to play with all the short hairstyles between baldness and longness... The cueball, the buzzcut, the crewcut, the bowlcut, the moptop, the semi-long hair which I would call rockstar-style, and then finally the good old hippie hair returns

I'm sure most people around here have seen my cats but that's not going to stop me from posting more pictures:

This is Dana my Domestic Short Hair Mackerel Tabby who is a rescue cat from a county shelter. She's extremely vocal and loves to chirp while running around our place. I named Dana after the main character in the old NES game Solomon's Key.

Grendel is a Highland Lynx. He's an exotic cat who will grow to be about 20-25 lbs. He is polydactyl (7 front toes and 6 back toes - his feet are huge), his ears are curled and he has a naturally short tail. He behaves like a dog and is extremely friendly. I obviously named him after the antagonist in the poem Beowulf.

Ps3 owners know that each title the buy on playstation store can be installed on 5 different consoles legally (except for a few exceptions). I'm looking for people who'd like to get in and share their account with me. I have FF Crystal Defenders and the additionnal characters pack from Marvel Ultimate Alliance (not the Juggernaut one). Well, I'm going to take some time to get some threads of discussion going here, but I feel like I can't say anything without first commenting on the glorious return of this amazing site. Certainly the community has dwindled since its prime, but with such an amazing new setup, we're bound to reach whole new levels.

So, we've been continually saying "welcome back," to everyone, but really we should be saying, "Welcome," to all the new users we're bound to draw in.

And, I think it's also necessary to thank both Tsao and Anon 27 for their continued efforts over the years, and their dedication to this new site. They have brought us together, given us a place to enjoy, all for the sake of providing a community for people like us. Thank you, guys!

We're all people, right? So, in the time since the Island went "down," what has everyone been up to?

How have you spent your time on the Internet in absence of an awesome place like this? How has your life changed because of the Island community? Do you have any goals now that the site is back up? Let's have a good old free-for-all of nostalgia and hopes!

ok guys, was wondering if you could help me here!

Im trying to use the oekaki for the first time ever, at the moment i had tried shi painter, paint bbs...aww heck ive tried them all, but it seems that whatever change i make, be it brush size, colour, whatever i have to refresh the page!

Is this normal? its frustrating me, i have looked around the interweb but cant seem to find any answers!
